What you’ll find here

• Eleven games: Mau-Mau, Durak (with optional transfer rule), Thirty-One, Shithead, President, Hearts, Solitaire, FreeCell, Spider, Scoundrel and the dice game Liar’s Dice.
• Play with friends: create a room, send the link or a five-letter code – whoever opens the link takes a seat at your table.
• Quick match and open tables with people from anywhere, plus two scheduled tournaments every day.
• Homies: computer opponents in three levels who fill empty seats – even if you want to play entirely on your own.
• Daily games: Solitaire and FreeCell deals that are guaranteed solvable, a Daily Spider and a Daily Dungeon, with the same cards for everyone and a leaderboard.
• A practice round with the bartender for every game, plus a page with the full rules.
• In English, German and Russian – on your phone just like on a computer.

The idea

Tavern Jack is a private hobby project from Germany, started in October 2026. The idea: the card games people know from family gatherings, holidays and parties should be playable online straight from a link – no account, no app, and just as good on a phone as on a computer.

Fair shuffling

Cards are shuffled on the server, not in your browser. The server checks every move and only sends each player the cards they’re allowed to see. Nobody else knows your hand – not even the Homies: they decide based only on what they can see themselves.

Daily game results are replayed move by move on the server before they reach the leaderboard. Only your first run of the day counts.

Play money, never real money

Bottle caps are the bar’s play money. You only earn them by playing – they can’t be bought, cashed out or transferred. Nobody ever plays for real money at Tavern Jack.

All games are free. There are currently no ads and no in-game purchases. An account is optional and only needed to keep your progress across devices or to add friends.
